The TSV Mölln (officially Möllner gymnastics and sports club of 1862 eV ) was a sports club based in Mölln in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein . The club went on in 1964 in the Möllner sports association .
Club history
The two predecessor clubs of TSV Mölln were the Möllner men's gymnastics club founded in 1862 and the Möllner sports club founded in 1912 , which merged in 1933. TSV Mölln, in turn, merged in 1964 with the Arbeiter-Turn und Sportverein (ATSV) Mölln, founded in 1922, to form the Möllner Sports Association of 1862 .
Football department
In the 1947/48 season, the club's men's soccer team took 7th place in the group east of the Schleswig-Holstein state league , which was the highest amateur class at the time. This placement was not enough to remain in the top amateur class. From 1948 to 1964 the TSV Mölln played continuously in the second highest Schleswig-Holstein amateur class.
