history

TSV Schliersee was founded in 1936 and currently consists of the football, handball, gymnastics, ice skating and ice hockey departments.

ice Hockey

Ice hockey was already being played successfully at Schliersee in the 1950s. It began with the three Bavarian regional league championships in 1950, 1957 (then 3rd league) and 1963, which the TSV team was able to bring to the Schliersee. A successful time were the 1970s and 1980s in which the Schlierseer promotion to the Bavarian League , the Bavarian League , the two-time promotion to the Regionalliga , 1985, the Bavarian State League Championship reached and 1986 the Bavarian runner. In the following years some national league and district league championships could be won. Since the 2013/14 season, TSV Schliersee and TEV Miesbach 1b have been participating in the leagues of the Bavarian Ice Sports Association ( BEV ) as a syndicate. In the 2017/18 season, the SG played in the Bavarian State League and again in the district league from 2018/19. From 2019/20 a second syndicate was reported, consisting of TSV Schliersee 1b and TEV Miesbach 1c and in the district league Gr. 3 starts.

Ice rink

The Oberlandstadion in Schliersee, built from 1946 to 1948, is a pure natural ice stadium and can no longer be used for league games due to the requirements of the BEV. Today the stadium is used for training, friendship games, public ice skating, curling and hobby ice hockey teams. For this reason, the home games of TSV Schliersee are played in the Miesbach ice rink. The stadium has a capacity of 1,900 spectators, 700 of which are available as seats.
