Taartoq (according to the old spelling Târpoĸ , German the dark one ) is an uninhabited island in the Upernavik district in Avannaata Kommunia , Greenland .
The island belongs to the Upernavik Archipelago and is located in Tasiusaq Bay .

Taartoq is four kilometers northeast of Qassi , five kilometers northwest of Natsisaat , five kilometers east of Inussuk , six kilometers east of Avalia , ten kilometers west of Aapparsuaq and ten kilometers east of Kingittorsuaq .
