Tabac Original
Tabac Original (own spelling: TABAC ) is Mäurer & Wirtz's own brand for men's cosmetics . It has been available on the German market since 1951. The products of the series are characterized by a tart, spicy dominant and a fragrance rounded off with precious woods , musk , amber and floral notes.
In 1951 Mäurer & Wirtz brought a perfumed soap onto the market under the name TABAC . This was also spread in the USA by American soldiers. At the end of 1952, Mäurer & Wirtz added the addition "Original" to the brand. From 1959, other products such as aftershave , deodorants and sunscreens were brought onto the market under the brand.
