Tada Michitarō

Tada Michitarō ( Japanese 多 田 道 太郎 ; * December 2, 1924 , † December 2, 2007 ) was a Japanese literary scholar ( French ).

Tada was a professor of literature at Kyoto University until his retirement . In 1978 he was awarded the Mainichi Culture Prize as editor ( Kuraun futsuwa jiten ) . In 1999 he received the Itō-Sei Literature Prize for Henshin rōka-ron in the review category. From 1991 to 2005 he was a member of the selection committee for the Murasaki Shikibu Literature Prize .
