Tadaaki Hirakawa ( Japanese 平川 忠 亮 Hirakawa Tadaaki ; born May 1, 1979 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Hirakawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with the Urawa Reds in 2002 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he was Japanese champion in 2006 . He contributed to winning the AFC Champions League in 2007 and 2017 . For the club he completed 336 first division games. At the end of 2018 he ended his career as a football player.
