Tadaaki Matsubara ( Japanese 松原 忠明 , Matsubara Tadaaki ; born July 2, 1977 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Matsubara learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimizu Commercial High School . He signed his first contract with Shimizu S-Pulse in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed three top division games. In 1999 he moved to third division Jatco FC . In 2001 he moved to the first division club Tokyo Verdy . For the club he completed two top division games. He then played for Okinawa Kariyushi FC (2002) and FC Ryukyu (2003-2007). At the end of 2007 he ended his career as a football player.
