Tadas Langaitis

Tadas Langaitis (born July 7, 1977 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician , from November 2016 to February 2018 a member of the Seimas .

Life

After graduating from Saulės High School in Kaunas in 1995, he completed his bachelor's degree at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga , Latvia, and then became a Chartered Financial Analyst . After an internship at “ Hansabank Markets” in Tallinn ( Estonia ), he set up an investment banking department in Lithuania (then bought by Swedbank ). In 1999 he was a co-founder of an investment bank and was a junior partner of " Lõhmus, Haavel & Viisemann " (LHV). With his partners he set up a venture capital fund “New Economy Ventures”, the first in what was then the Baltic States . From 2000 to 2007 he established and financed technology and media companies in the Baltic States and Scandinavia . In 2000 he founded the IT service company "Webmedia Group" in Estonia .

Tadas Langaitis has been working in the NGO sector since 2008. With his wife he set up the “Geros Valios Projektai” institution and headed it until 2015 as chairman of the board.

He was a member of Seimas from 2016–2018, and resigned in February 2018.

Tadas Langaitis is married. He has two daughters with his wife Inga Langaitė.
