Tadeusz Zaydel was a Polish skier.

Career

Zaydel was a member of the SN PTT-1907 Club Sportowy Kemping Zakopane and there one of the most important Polish ski jumpers of his time. In 1923 he became Polish junior champion. Just a year later, he won the silver medal at the Polish championships in ski jumping.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Johannesbad in 1925 , Zaydel landed 38th in the individual ski jumping, before finishing cross-country skiing over 18 km in 82nd. In ski jumping he set a new Polish record with 40.5 meters.

At the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 , he was a soldier in the Polish team in the military patrol run , which reached seventh place.

After the end of his active career, Zaydel devoted himself to painting.
