Tagus Park

The Taguspark is a science - and technology park in the district of Oeiras in the subregion Grande Lisboa in Portugal . On an area of ​​around 360 hectares, 150 of which are occupied by several research and development laboratories, innovative business start- ups and start-up centers in areas such as information technology, telecommunications, electronics, materials, manufacturing, energy, the environment, biotechnology and fine chemistry. It has partnerships with leading university institutions such as the Technical University of Lisbon and its faculty - the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) - which have facilities in the park.

Several technology companies have their Portuguese headquarters in the Taguspark area. Among them are T-Systems , Microsoft and MIPS Technologies , which are represented by their subsidiary Chipidea.

The Taguspark is one of the leading technology parks in Europe.
