Grande Lisboa ( German Greater Lisbon ) is a statistical sub-region of Portugal . It is part of the Região de Lisboa (formerly Lisboa e Vale do Tejo ) and the District of Lisbon . The region is bordered by the sub-region West (Portugal) ( Oeste ) in the north, Lezíria do Tejo in the east, the Tejo in the south and the Península de Setúbal as well as the Atlantic Ocean .
