The Península de Setúbal ( German  Peninsula of Setúbal ) is a Portuguese sub-region and part of the Lisbon region (formerly Lisboa e Vale do Tejo ) and the Setúbal district . The peninsula borders in the north on the Tagus (and theoretically also on the greater Lisbon area ) and Lezíria do Tejo , in the east on the Alentejo Central and in the south on the Alentejo Litoral .
