The powiat Kartuski ( Kashubian : Kartësczi kréz ) is a powiat (district) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of 1120.04 km² and about 131,000 inhabitants.
history
The powiat Kartuski belonged from 1920 to April 6, 1945, with interruptions by the German occupation 1939–1945, to the Greater Pomeranian Voivodeship and came to the newly created Gdansk Voivodeship on April 7, 1945 as part of a territorial reform .
