The powiat Gdański is a powiat ( district ) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It has an area of ​​793.17 km² and has 117,452 inhabitants.

The district area essentially comprises the territory of the German district of Danziger Höhe, which was dissolved in 1939 .

The seat of the administration is in the city of Pruszcz Gdański ( Praust ).
