The Powiat Tczewski is a powiat ( district ) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship with the district town of Tczew . The powiat has an area of ​​697.54 km², on which about 115,000 people live.

history

The powiat Tczewski belonged from 1920 to April 6, 1945, with interruptions due to the German occupation from September 1939 to March 1945 , to the Greater Pomerania Voivodeship . In the course of a regional reform , the Powiat Gniewski, with the seat of the Starostei in Gniew , was incorporated on April 1, 1932 . On April 7, 1945 the powiat Tczewski came to the newly created Gdansk Voivodeship .
