Taiji Furuta ( Japanese 古田 泰士 Furuta Taiji ; born August 4, 1982 in Nara Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Furuta learned to play football on the university team at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences . He signed his first contract with Tokushima Vortis in 2005 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In October 2010 he was loaned to the Banditonce Kobe . In 2007 he returned to Tokushima Vortis. For the club he completed 26 league games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
