Taijirō Kurita ( Japanese 栗 田 泰 次郎 , Kurita Taijirō ; born March 3, 1975 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kurita learned to play soccer on the school team at Shizuoka Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract with Kashima Antlers in 1993 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1996 . In 1997 he won the J.League Cup and Kaiserpokal with the club . For the club he completed 29 first division games. In 1998 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . In 1999 he moved to the second division Consadole Sapporo . In 2000 he moved to the first division club Shimizu S-Pulse . In 2001 he moved to the second division Yokohama FC . In 2002 he moved to league competitor Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 138 games. In 2006 he moved to third division FC Ryukyu . For the club he completed 82 games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
