Taka Takata is a sympathetic naval aviator in the Japanese army today. Inexplicable things happen all the time, the soldiers are confronted with miraculous beings or adventurous machines. The colonel demands a high level of performance, while Taka Takata is rather friendly and cozy.

The funny comics appeared in the comic magazine Tintin from 1965 to 1980 . From 1969 onwards, albums of the stories were published by Le Lombard , Dargaud and self-published.
In Germany, some episodes appeared in the magazine Zack in 1972 and in the paperback Zack Parade in 1974 .
