Takahito Sōma ( Japanese 相 馬 崇 人 , Sōma Takahito , born December 10, 1981 in Kawasaki ) is a Japanese football player who has been playing for Vissel Kobe in the 1st Japanese league since 2011 .

He started his professional career at Tokyo Verdy in 1969 . He played there from 2003 to 2005. In 2004 he won the Kaiser Cup with Verdy . In 2005 he moved to the Urawa Red Diamonds . There he was able to become Japanese champion , SuperCup winner and Kaiser Cup winner for the second time in his first season . A year later he won the AFC Champions League with the team . He also took part in the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup. After the contract ended in 2008, he moved to the Portuguese league for Marítimo Funchal . Since July 2010 Sōma played at Energie Cottbus and completed 21 games. After he did not return from home leave from Japan in June 2011 , the contract with Sōma was terminated. From the 2011/12 season Soma will play again in his home country with Vissel Kobe .
