In this department, which is responsible for cooperation between Nintendo and outside studios, Nakano is subordinate to the second group under producer Hitoshi Yamagami . As a coordinator and supporter, he worked on some offshoots of the Pokémon series. He made his director debut in 2005 with Jump Super Stars . This was also the first project that Nintendo developed in cooperation with Ganbarion . The collaboration resulted in the 2008 successor Jump Ultimate Stars , which Nakano was also a director. The 2011 action role-playing game, Pandora's Tower, was the next game SPD and Ganbarion worked on under Nakano's direction.

With Xenoblade Chronicles , a Wii RPG from Monolith Soft, Nakano 2010 was one of the producers and The Last Story in 2011, he served as co-producer.

In addition to Ganbarion, Nakano worked with the Arika studio . He co-produced the Wii game Endless Ocean 2 in 2009. This year Nakano received an order from one of the SPD leaders to reissue some classic games for Nintendo's 2011 handheld 3DS with autostereoscopic 3D effects. Thus Nakano became the responsible director of the 3D Classics series, which includes new editions of six old Nintendo games. Arika developed the new editions and appeared in Nintendo's eShop in 2011 and 2012.
