Nakano has been with Nintendo since 2001. He later joined the Nintendo Software Planning & Development (SPD) department founded in 2004 . In this department, which is responsible for cooperation between Nintendo and outside studios, Nakano is subordinate to the second group under producer Hitoshi Yamagami . In addition to Ganbarion, Nakano worked with the Arika studio . He co-produced the Wii game Endless Ocean 2 in 2009.
