Takashi Kuwahara ( Japanese 桑 原 隆 , Kuwahara Takashi ; born May 5, 1948 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.
Career
Kuwahara learned to play soccer on the school team at Fujieda Higashi High School . He signed his first contract with Furukawa Electric in 1967 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1976 . In 1976 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 1977 and 1982 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 215 first division games. At the end of 1982 he ended his career as a football player.
