Temple Buttress is a 1150 m high and steep ridge on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It extends southeast from Budd Peak to the head of the Fiftyone Glacier .
It is named after Phillip Temple, who was involved in the successful ascent of Big Ben in 1965.
