Takashi Umeda ( Japanese 梅田 高志 Umeda Takashi ; born May 30, 1976 in Gifu Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Umeda learned to play soccer on the school team at Gifu Technical High School . He signed his first contract in 1995 with Seino Transportation SC . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 44 games. In 1998 he moved to league competitor Oita Trinity (today: Oita Trinita). In 2002 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 216 games. In 2008 he was loaned to the second division club FC Gifu . For the club he completed 39 games. In 2009 he returned to Ōita Trinita . At the end of the 2009 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 30 games. At the end of 2010 he ended his career as a football player.
