Takatsukasa Nobufusa

Takatsukasa family Nobufusa ( Jap. 鷹司信房 * 17th November 1565 ; † 18th January 1658 ( Meireki 03/12/15)) busy in the male line with takatsukasa family Tadafuyu extinct go-sekke family takatsukasa family again.

He was a biological son of Nijō Haruyoshis ( 二条 晴 良 ). After adopting the name Takatsukasa, he was considered the adopted son of Tadafuyu, who died 15 years before he was born. His mother was the Joō of the Imperial Prince Sadaatsu.

Nobufusa was Kampaku for Go-Yōzei from 1606 to January 31, 1609 .

He was married to a daughter of Sassa Narimasa ( 佐 々 成 政 ). He had twelve surviving children, seven of whom were daughters. Most of them entered monasteries. The second-born Nobutaka took over the hereditary position of the Bettō in the Kōfuku-ji in the family . His daughter Takako ( 孝子 ; 1602-74) was married to the Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu . Nobuhira, born in 1636, became the progenitor of a Matsudaira line.
