Takehito Suzuki ( Japanese 鈴木 健 仁 , Suzuki Takehito ; born June 11, 1971 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Suzuki learned to play soccer on the school team at Nihon University Fujisawa High School . He signed his first contract with Nissan Motors in 1990 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Nissan Motors became the Yokohama Marinos . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1995 . For the club he completed 110 first division games. In October 1998 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . For the club, he completed 37 first division games. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Gamba Osaka . In 2001 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe . In June 2002 he moved to league rivals Vegalta Sendai . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
