Takeshi Urakami ( Japanese 浦 上 壮 史 , Urakami Takeshi ; born February 7, 1969 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Urakami learned to play soccer on the school team at Kokugakuin Kugayama High School . He signed his first contract with Nissan Motors in 1988 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Nissan Motors became Yokohama Marinos . In 1995 he moved to the league competitor Shimizu S-Pulse . In 1997 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . In 1999 he became champions of the J2 League with the club and rose to the J1 Leagueon. In 2000 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . At the end of the 2000 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 175 games. At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
