Takumi Motohashi ( Japanese 本 橋 卓 巳 Motohashi Takumi ; born August 3, 1982 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Motohashi learned to play soccer on the school team at Funabashi High School . He signed his first contract in 2001 with the Yokohama F. Marinos . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2002 he was loaned to the second division club Shonan Bellmare . For the club he completed 15 league games. In 2003 he returned to Yokohama F. Marinos. With the club he became Japanese champion in 2003 . In 2004 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed 40 league games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club . For the club he completed 83 league games. In 2009 he moved to league rivals Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 80 league games. At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
