Takumi Wada ( Japanese 和田 拓 三 Wada Takumi ; born October 20, 1981 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Wada learned to play soccer on the school team at Hamana High School and the university team at Nihon University . He signed his first contract with Shimizu S-Pulse in 2004 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 17 top division games. In 2007 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . For the club he completed 23 first division games. In 2008 he moved to league rivals Tokyo Verdy . For the club he completed 22 first division games. In 2009 he moved to league rivals JEF United Chiba . At the end of the 2009 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 27 league games. In 2011 he moved to the first division club Avispa Fukuoka . At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 45 league games. At the end of 2012 he ended his career as a football player.
