Takumi Yamada ( Japanese 山田 拓巳 Yamada Takumi ; born November 25, 1989 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Yamada learned to play soccer on the school team at Funabashi High School . He signed his first contract with Montedio Yamagata in 2008 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2014 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2014 season, the club rose again to the J1 League. At the end of the 2015 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League.
