Takurō Yajima ( Japanese 矢 島 卓 郎 Yajima Takurō ; born March 28, 1984 in Shiga Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yajima learned to play soccer on the school team at Zeze High School and the university team at Waseda University . He signed his first contract in 2004 with the Kawasaki Frontale . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2006 he moved to the first division club Shimizu S-Pulse . For the club he completed 69 first division games. In 2008 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . In 2009 he moved to league rivals Kawasaki Frontale. In 2009 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club . For the club he completed 93 first division games. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Yokohama F. Marinos . For the club, he completed 14 first division games. In 2016 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Sanga FC . For the club he completed 12 league games. At the end of 2016, he ended his career as a football player.
