Talsteußlingen is a district of the town of Schelklingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The hamlet is to the right of the Schmiech below Neusteusslingen Castle .
history
The place was a castle hamlet at the foot of the Schloßberg, which contained the castle and palace Neusteusslingen , and part of the Steusslingen rule . Initially the hamlet consisted only of the flour mill, which ceased operations in the 20th century. The inventory book of the Steusslingen Office from 1700/1701 names a shepherd's house for the shepherd of the Talvieh, the Vogthaus and a brick hut that was sold before 1700/01 as further buildings at the foot of the Schloßberg . The Gasthaus zum Löwen was only built after 1700/01 at the beginning of the 18th century. In 1700/01 there was no bridge over the Schmiech, but a ford.
At the beginning of the 19th century, the hamlet was assigned to the Oberamt Ehingen as part of Ennahofen .
Talsteusslingen was assigned to the Alb-Donau district in the early 1970s and incorporated into Schelklingen in 1976.
