Tamara Bösch (born June 5, 1989 in Lustenau ) is a former Austrian handball player who was most recently under contract with the German Bundesliga club HC Rödertal .

Career

Tamara Bösch initially played for the Austrian Bundesliga club HC Lustenau, for which her sister Amanda also appeared . In 2008 the left-hander switched to the Swiss first division club LC Brühl Handball . With Brühl she won the Swiss championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012 as well as the Swiss Cup in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2016. In summer 2016 she moved to the German Bundesliga club HC Leipzig . After HC Leipzig filed for bankruptcy, she joined the Bundesliga promoted HC Rödertal in July 2017 . Due to a cartilage damage in her right knee, she ended her career after the 2017/18 season.

Bösch was part of the squad of the Austrian national team , for which she appeared 50 times.
