Tamara De Treaux
Tamara De Treaux (* 21st October 1959 in California as Tamara Detro ; † 28. November 1990 in North Hollywood , Los Angeles , California) was an American actress.
Short, just 79 centimeters (2 feet, 7 inches) tall De Treaux was a friend of the American writer Armistead Maupin . She provided the template for the heroine Cadence Roth in his novel Maybe the Moon (German: Die Kleine ).
Tamara De Treaux played the alien next to Michael Patrick "Little Pat" Bilon in Steven Spielberg's film ET (1982) and was inside the doll. Despite her leading role, she remained unknown to the public. She died of heart failure on November 28, 1990 at the age of 31 .
