Tambet Tuisk (born May 23, 1976 ) is an Estonian actor .

life and work

Tambet Tuisk studied acting from 1996 to 2000 at the Estonian Music and Theater Academy in the capital Tallinn . He first worked as an actor at the Vanemuine Theater in the second largest Estonian city of Tartu . Tuisk has been playing in the Tallinn Theater NO99 since 2005 . He also appears in film and television roles.

Tuisk became known in Germany in 2011 through the film Poll by Chris Kraus . In it he plays the Estonian anarchist "Schnaps". In Estonia, Tuisk has appeared in the films Mina olin siin (2008) and Detsembrikuumus (2008), among others. Tuisk also played the role of prisoner Holger Drake in the Stuttgart crime scene Freilang , which was broadcast for the first time on June 9, 2014. In 2017 he was seen in Leander's Last Journey .

Tambet Tuisk has received numerous theater awards. He is a member of the "Estonian Actors Association" ( Eesti Näitlejate Liit ).

Tambet Tuisk was married to the Estonian actress and presenter Piret Simson (* 1974). They have one son. In 2006 the couple divorced.
