Tammy Lynn Michaels (* 26. November 1974 in Lafayette , Indiana ) is an American actress .

Life

From the beginning of 2001 to April 2010 she lived with the singer Melissa Etheridge . The two were married from 2003 to 2010. In April 2006 she became pregnant after an anonymous sperm donation and gave birth to twins Miller Stephen and Johnnie Rose on October 17, 2006. Her ex-partner Melissa Etheridge already has two children (Bailey and Bekett) from her previous relationship with Julie Cypher , from whom she separated in 2000.

In 2001, Tammy starred in Popular , in 2002 for three episodes on That's '80, and in 2004 she had a film role on The L Word (three episodes in season 1), where she stalked Shane McCutcheon ( Katherine Moennig ) was seen.
