Tan Chong Tee (born October 15, 1916 in Singapore , † November 24, 2012 , also known as Lim Shu and Tan Tien Soong ) was a resistance fighter and badminton player from Singapore.

Badminton career

Tan Chong Tee recorded as his greatest success the victory in the men's singles at the second edition of the Malaysian Open in 1938. In 1936 he won the Singapore Open Championships against Kim Fatt , in 1940 he won the final against Yap Chin Tee with 15: 8 and 15: 6 . In 1936 he was also involved in Singapore's 6-3 victory over Perak , although he lost his individual against Tan Cheng Phor in this team fight with 4:15, 15: 9, 12:15. Tan Chong Tee was still active in 1959, winning at the Veterans Championships in Singapore in doubles with Ismail Marjan against A. Aziz and Lim Cheng Kwee in the men's doubles final with 15:11 and 15: 6.
