Tanguy and Laverdure Klassik is a Franco-Belgian comic .
The events focus on French military pilots Michel Tanguy and Ernest Laverdure, the title characters from The Adventures of Tanguy and Laverdure . In contrast to the main series, the plot is not set in the present, but rather in the 1960s and 1970s. Patrice Buendia initially signed a two-parter based on the novel L'Avion qui tuait ses pilotes (1971) by Jean-Michel Charlier , who in the paperback series Bibliothèque verte the publisher Hachette appeared and Jijé and his assistant Daniel Chauvin was illustrated. Matthieu Durand followed the drawing style of Albert Uderzo , who was the first draftsman of the original series.
Dargaud entered into a collaboration with the Zéphyr publishing house, which specializes in aviator comics . Salleck took over the German-speaking sales .
