Daniel Chauvin

Daniel Chauvin (born May 25, 1939 - August 1, 1995 ) was a French cartoonist .

Career

Daniel Chauvin's interest in aviation was aroused early on. He was a pilot and started drawing airplanes. This work convinced Jijé , who employed him as a background artist in Tanguy and Laverdure . When Victor Hubinon failed due to illness, he was able to finish the current story of Buck Danny . Some short stories appeared in Pilote , Spirou, and Tintin . Only between 1984 and 1987 did his own aviation comics come out in album form.
