Tania Evans (born May 28, 1967 in London ) is a British singer. She became known as a member of the German Eurodance project Culture Beat .

Life

Evans joined Culture Beat in 1993 and stayed with the band until 1997. In the most successful phase of the dance act, she was the lead singer and sang on the albums Serenity and Inside Out . Together with Culture Beat, she reached the top position of the single charts in thirteen countries with the single Mr. Vain , including Germany and Great Britain. After separating from Culture Beat, Evans started a solo career and released the single Prisoner of Love (La-Da-Di) in 1997, which reached the bottom of the German single top 100, but stayed in the charts for 9 weeks stayed. A year later she was guest singer of the trance project Kosmonova on its single Singin 'in My Mind . After that it became quieter for the singer. In 2003 she released a single called Strength To Carry On , which however was not a success in the charts. Since then, no further single releases by Tania Evans are known. She was also not involved in the numerous comeback attempts of the Culture Beat project.
