Taniyuki Yuki (born May 6, 1960 in Yamagata Prefecture ) is a former Japanese cross-country skier .

Career

Yuki started internationally for the first time at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 . There he finished 64th place over 15 km, 32nd place over 50 km and 12th place with the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol , he ran to 62nd place over 15 km, 58th place over 30 km and 46th place over 50 km. At the beginning of March 1986 he won the 30 km freestyle at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo and the gold medal with the relay. In the following year he came at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf on the 50th place over 15 km classic, on the 45th place over 30 km classic and on the 18th place over 50 km freestyle. He completed his last international race at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary . There he finished 57th place over 30 km classic, 52nd place over 15 km classic and 39th place over 50 km freestyle. Together with Atsushi Egawa , Kazunari Sasaki and Masaharu Yamazaki , he won 14th place in the season.

Yuki was three times Japanese champion over 30 km (1982, 1983, 1988) and 50 km (1982-1984).
