Tanja Bauer (politician)

Tanja Bauer (born June 12, 1983 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Tanja Bauer grew up in the Bernese Oberland and studied political science at the University of Geneva . She worked as a project manager in the office for gender equality and family issues in the canton of Friborg and as a research assistant in the general secretariat of the health and social affairs department of the canton of Friborg. Tanja Bauer lives in Wabern . She lives in a partnership and has three children.

Tanja Bauer was elected to the local parliament of Köniz in 2017 for the SP . In June 2018, she was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern , where she has been a member of the Security Commission ever since.

In November 2018, Bauer was elected Vice President of the SP Canton of Bern . She is president of the VPOD canton of Bern and co-president of the association Chinderetz Kanton Bern .
