Tanja Kumpermond

Tanja Kumpermond is a German artist who lives and works in Munich and around the world. It appears to the outside world under Kumpermond .

Kumpermond's works are somewhere between painting and installation . Canvases work in the form of mobile raw linen - " flags ". In a staged form with light and the rough physicality of steel girders , contemporary human depiction becomes a material, not a subject. The viewer enters the context like an axial moment, is allowed to dissolve and interfere. Conceptual works on paper expand the oeuvre.
