DJ Tanja La Croix , actually Tanja Wettach (born April 8, 1982 ) is a house DJ and producer from Switzerland .

Early stage of life

Tanja Wettach was born in St. Gallen. Her father Urs was a musician and her mother Yvonne was a clerk. In 1998 she began her modeling career with the victory for Miss Bodensee. In 2000 she reached the 3rd place in the Miss Model of the World Contest in Istanbul and in 2001 she reached the final of the Miss Switzerland elections. Shortly afterwards, she started her international modeling career and ran for international labels.

Music career

In 2006 she started her music career by releasing her first CD compilation Lautundspitz for the online party portal Lautundspitz. In 2007 she made her debut as a producer with the CD compilation A Trip to Bikini Island , which featured in-house productions such as DNA and Wet . It reached number 49 on the Swiss album hit parade. In 2008, their third CD compilation, Destination Summer , was released, which entered the album hit parade at number 60.

Tanja La Croix continued her musical career in 2009 with the EP Gente on the record label Diamondhouse Records . The title song of the same name "Gente" reached number 1 in the Radio Ibiza Dance Charts in Italy in December 2009.

In March 2010 her single In the Club was released via Unreleased Digital. Only one month later she followed up with the production Need More (including DONS remix) via Diamond House.

In summer 2010 Tanja La Croix became the figurehead of the Street Parade in Zurich. As a musical ambassador, she mixed the official Street Parade CD, which reached number 2 on the Swiss compilation charts, and played on her love mobile.

The year 2011 started Tanja La Croix with her new single Hard to Handle feat. Andy P. and the remix of the same name by Nicky Romero . In April 2011 she released her fourth compilation House Kiss , which reached number 11 on the Swiss compilation charts. At the beginning of 2011 Tanja La Croix became an ambassador for Mercedes-Benz Switzerland. For the Mercedes campaigns she provided the soundtrack, her own production Star . She is currently also sponsored by Guess, Hairstylist Coiffeur Carlo, Eyezone and G-Shock.

In 2011 Tanja La Croix was nominated for the Swiss Nightlife Award in the Best House DJ category. The award show took place on October 15, 2011. Her most important appearances in the recent past include the collaboration with the haute couture broadcaster Fashion TV, as well as DJ sets in the BCM Club (Mallorca), Space (Ibiza), We Are Family (Moscow), Ocean Drive (Ibiza) , C-Bar (Dubai), Jimmy'z (Monaco), Club Take Five at the FIS Hahnenkamm ski race (Kitzbühel), Mercedes-Benz CSI (Zurich), White Club (Beirut), Sottovento Club (Porto Cervo), Nikki Beach (Marbella), Energy 2011 (Zurich), Pura Vida (Ibiza) or at the official Red Bull Formula 1 afterparty in Valencia.
