Tanja Schurkus
Tanja Schurkus (* 1970 in Cologne ) is a German author .
Life
After studying literature , German and American studies , Tanja Schurkus worked as a bookseller and copywriter . She wrote numerous short stories and received her first short story award in 1999. This was followed by publications in anthologies and literary magazines . She finds the themes of her novels mainly in the period of the French Empire.
She lives and works as an author, freelance editor and translator in Cologne.
