Tao Xingzhi
Tao Xingzhi ( Chinese 陶行知 , Pinyin Táo Xíngzhī ; * 1891 , † 1946 ) was a Chinese educational scientist and reform pedagogue. In 1939 he founded in Gusheng Temple ( 古聖寺 / 古圣寺 , Gǔshèng Sì ) in the village of Fenghuang ( 鳳凰村 / 凤凰村 ), Hechuan , Sichuan (now Chongqing ), the Yucai School ( 育才學校 / 育才学校 , Yùcái xuéxiào ).
