Tard Venus

The Tard-Venus was a mercenary - Company of the Grandes Compagnies during the Hundred Years War .

The Tard-Venus was founded after the Peace of Brétigny (May 8, 1360) from demobilized mercenaries who lived under the command of Petit Meschin and Seguin de Badefol , mainly in Burgundy and Languedoc . In 1362 they devastated the county of La Marche from Jacques de Bourbon , who had fought against them in the Battle of Brignais , lost and was fatally wounded. The company consisted of Gascogners , English, Germans and other nationalities who were all called Routiers .
