Targa Resources is a US company in the field of natural gas processing and liquid gas transport ( midstream ). Targa Resources has multiple locations in Texas, Oklahoma, North Dakota, New Mexico and Louisiana. The main business of the company is the transport, storage and processing of natural gas as well as LPG and NGL , but crude oil is also stored and resold.

Targa Resources was founded in 2003 by the private equity company Warburg Pincus and initially consisted of parts of the company taken over from ConocoPhillips and Dynegy . In February 2007 the company went public, in 2013 Warburg Pincus sold its remaining shares in Targa Resources.
