Tariff system

A tariff system describes the system for calculating the price of a service. The service can be a service , work but also a fee . The tariff system to be used for a specific service is specified and described in the tariff provisions . These are in turn determined by the provider, but are often subject to the approval of the regulatory authority .

The water supply is one of the oldest providers of tariff systems, and with the construction of gas works , independent tariff systems also emerged, and the electricity suppliers were able to build on their experience. The consumers are charged on the basis of a consumption measured with a meter ( water meter , gas meter , electricity meter ).
