World Curling Championship 2005

The 2005 World Curling Championship was the first since 1988 in which the men's and women's tournaments were again held separately in time and space. It was also the first to use the page playoff system .

The men's tournament (officially 2005 Ford World Men's Curling Championship called) took place from 2. bis 10. April 2005 in the newly built Save-on-Foods Memorial Center in the Canadian city of Victoria instead. The women wore their tournament from 19th bis 27. March at Lagoon Leisure Center in the Scottish town of Paisley from.
